Family Empowerment Center (FEC) - Provides information, training, support, resources, and advocacy skills to parents and caregivers of children and young adults 3 - 22 years of age with any disability navigating special education in Lassen, Modoc, Plumas & Sierra Counties.

In-Home Respite Services - Provides respite care, support, and referrals to families with adults and children who have a intellectual/developmental disability and for caregivers of elderly in Lassen, Modoc, Plumas & Sierra Counties. Other services for the elderly include - Companionship, Shopping, Transportation, and Meal Preparation.

Training & Development - PRS offers trainings across a wide variety of professional, personal and community topics. Workforce training includes topics such as: Leadership and Supervisory Skills, Customer Service, Sexual Harassment and Succession Planning. We also offer training related to mental health and suicide prevention/intervention, including Mental Health First Aid, safe TALK and ASIST workshops. Custom training programs are available for the workplace, school, or other settings.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction - The 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course is appropriate for anyone wanting to explore mindfulness and its potential benefits in their lives. The course is designed to introduce mindfulness through a variety of practices, practical tips, exercise tips and resources. The class is offered several times a year or can be modified into a full-day workshop or intensive two-day training. Individual sessions are also available.

Trauma Recovery & Education - The Trauma Recovery & Education program provides trauma recovery treatment to those suffering the effects of trauma in their lives. Working one-on-one, clients learn to become aware of their physical, mental, and emotional responses to stimuli in order to stop and/or change problematic reactions. Trainings and workshops on trauma-informed services and how trauma affects brains, behavior, learning, relationships, and more are available.
