The Fort Sage Family Resource Center (FSFRC) as well as the Westwood Family Resource Center serve as a rural safety-net programs operating under the non-profit umbrella Communities United for Children and Families in Lassen County since 1997.

 

FSFRC and WWFRC serve as a one-stop center offering rural families in the communities of Doyle, Herlong, and their surrounding areas access to food bank and emergency services, health care information, community resources and referrals and supportive services through multiple center-based and community programs. Family Resource Centers inherently serve communities and families through site-based programs that empower our most vulnerable populations to improve not only their lives but those of their children.
