Lassen County Child and Family Services

Child and Family Services (CFS) is a division of the Lassen County Health and Social Services department and is responsible for investigating reports of child abuse or neglect , determining whether maltreatment has occurred, and intervening to ensure a safe environment for the child. CFS also provides protection for children who are at risk of, or are experiencing, different types of abuse and helps families find appropriate support services to strengthen and promote safe nurturing homes for children. CFS may remove at-risk children to a safe place when necessary.
