Lassen WORKs

Lassen WORKs is a division within the Community Social Services Department. At Lassen WORKs we provide temporary financial assistance, support programs for low-income families with children and we offer employment services under a social care program to work to help recipients become self-sufficient. Lassen WORKs provides assistance to families in need of housing, food, utilities, clothing, SNAP, welfare and/or medical care. Our professional, knowledgeable and courteous staff offers quality confidential services in a responsible, timely and compassionate manner.
